I really love the graphics guys on the Daily Show September 5, 2008

I was watching a clip online yesterday of a section of Wednesday’s episode of the Daily Show when I noticed something. Here is a little graphic I made to demonstrate.

We all know that the show is left leaning, but I like that the graphics guys decided to add that small little jab.

Hello Internet August 11, 2008

Ok, well, here I am. My goal with this thing is to help me develop more of a presence out there in the ether and ramble on about cool shit I find and talk a little bit about what I do for money and fun. It’s also a test to see if I can come out of my introvert hole. I’m not really comfortable with “putting myself out there”, but I figure this is probably one the best ways to get past that hurdle. Besides of course becoming a drunken mess and demanding that people admire my work (see White Wolf St. Patti’s Day Festivities 2008), and that usually results in polite head nodding and a pat on the back before I black out. I hope this gets me a bit more feedback.

Any way, let us start with what I do:

For Money

  • I am an Art Director and Graphic Designer with White Wolf Publishing a division of CCP’s Atlanta office. This for the most part is my dream job. I get to work with a lot of artists that I admire (see links to the right) and still get the chance to flex my design skills. If I can get the permission I will try to talk about how I work on things. A little behind the scenes.

For Fun

  • I like to see movies, find weird crap on the internet, doodle, drink beer, eat smelly cheese, spend time with friends, play video games, listen to music, take road trips, sculpt, pillage junk shops, collect toys, admire mid-century furniture design, buy cool art books, and last, but definitely not least, spend time with my lovely wife and our crazed lunatic of a mutt Noodle.

So that’s basically it. That’s my howdy do. So hope to see you around and enjoy the pretzels.
